Bell Shakespeare Regional Mentorship Program

Bell Shakespeare, with support from the Australian Government and Teachers Mutual Bank, offers regional teacher mentorship to 30 primary and secondary teachers from regional, rural and remote Australian schools. The program is a fully-funded year-long mentorship with Bell Shakespeare, including four days of Professional Learning at Bell Shakespeare HQ in Sydney and ongoing support throughout 2017.

Teachers will receive specialist training in practical and innovative strategies for teaching Shakespeare, collaborate and network with other regional teachers from around Australia, design a Shakespeare unit plan and see Bell Shakespeare’s Richard 3 at Sydney Opera House.

The program is appropriate for both early career teachers and experienced teachers looking for new skills.

Applications are open now and close on December 5th. For more information, see the letter and application form attached.
