Dyslexia Awareness Week

Dyslexia is the most common learning difficulty in Australia, estimated to affect approximately 10% of the population. This week (October 16 – 22) is Dyslexia Awareness Week, aimed at encouraging appropriate screening, assessment and intervention to support children with dyslexia. One initiative related to this week is the My Red Letter program, which gives an insight into the struggles that dyslexic children and their parents face. Take a look at the My Red Letter website here.
